Environmental Protective Services:
"Our Mission" is to offer legal and safe ways of meeting your requirements for disposing of spent fluorescent, H.I.D. lamps. For more information please contact us today.
In the lamp recycling process any fluorescent or HID lamp regardless of whether the lamp tests hazardous can be recycling by EPS. Recycling separates the toxic substances, such as mercury, from the glass, aluminum and other lamp components. All materials may be reused in manufacturing other products. Lamps are separated into primary materials from which they are made: Glass, Aluminum, Mercury. All materials may be used in manufacturing other products.
EPS Operations:
EPS operates as a universal waste "Destination Facility" for treatment of mercury-containing lamps. Daily loads of lamps are received and crushed in a specially designed, enclosed machine. This machine separates the toxic substances, such as mercury, from the glass, aluminum and other lamp components. Lamps are then separated into primary materials from which they are made: Glass, Aluminum, Mercury. All materials may be used in manufacturing other products.
